Come join us and follow the thrilling journey of the scientist Hans and his assistant Schultze on their journey to fix modern day world problems as they attempt to go back in time. Mistakenly transported into the worlds of Ariel, Robin Hood, Maleficent and Tiana along the way, Hans and Schultze meet all your favorite characters; each a part of a story full of twists, turns and musical delights in our upcoming masterpiece.
What is truly amazing about this performance is that it is written, directed and produced by Harare International School students! 18 months ago a 13 year old, and two 14 year olds came up with a plan to write a whole school production – and as we do here at HIS, we jumped at the chance!!! Since then, we have been busy writing, editing, casting, writing music and lyrics, set and costume designing, rehearsing and directing, along with learning how to budget and advertise!!!! Students from ages 5 to 17 are involved – it’s colourful, funny, exciting and original.
Don’t miss out on this fun filled evening, great for the whole family. It will be sure to make you laugh out loud, whilst remembering why we all have an important part to play in creating a peaceful world!
