FBC Group availed a total USD 150 000 towards the 2023 Zimbabwe Open Golf

FBC Group this year demonstrated its unwavering commitment to promoting golf development in Zimbabwe and to showcase the country to international golfers as a great golfing destination. In launching the 2023 FBC Zim-Open Golf Tournament in Harare, Trynos Kufazvinei, the FBCH Deputy Group CE, said the bank was the title sponsor for the second consecutive year, having been the in the previous edition of the FBC Zim- Open 2022.
“As you may all be aware, FBC Holdings is no stranger to the sport of Golf. The group promotes the development of Golf in Zimbabwe and the African Continent at large as evidenced by our participation in previous editions of the Zimbabwe Open Golf Tournament as anchor sponsors as well as various sponsorships of the Africa Region 5 Golf Tournament and All Africa Golf Championships. “I am indebted to the Zimbabwe Open Golf Committee led by Mr Livingstone Gwata, whose passion for golf has helped to keep the game alive and to ensure that The Zimbabwe Open Golf tournament becomes an annual event. “As the FBCH Group and the nation of Zimbabwe at large, we are truly honoured to have a dedicated team of leaders whose passion for the development of golf in the country has continued to grow in leaps and bounds over the years; resulting in the outstanding recognition of Zimbabwe as an attractive golfing destination,” he said. “This is evidenced by the significant number of regional and international professional golfers who participate in the Zimbabwe Open Golf Tournament every year.” As the Title Sponsor, FBC Group availed a total USD 150 000 towards the 2023 Zimbabwe Open Golf Tournament.
