Floyd Mayweather touched down early Thursday ( July 13) morning at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe Airport to a hero’s welcome. Clad in a camo outfit, black T shirt and a matching flat base cap flipped sideways, The Money Man arrived aboard his private jet written Mayweather looked fresh and bubbly.
The Money Man was welcomed on the tarmac by a traditional dance group a sign of African warm hospitality before joining them in song and dance. While in the shuttle bus, The Money Man pulled some stunts before beaming to the cameras saying:” I am back home, I am back where I belong, I am back home.”
A convoy of luxury cars and a police escort was all part of the warm reception that the Money Man got as he was taken to his hotel. The visit by The Money Man is part of his The Motherland Tour which will also take him to South Africa. A top-drawer dinner will be held tonight at venue still to be advised. He will also handover a boxing ring in Mabvuku today where Zanu PF aspiring MP Pedzisayi Scott Sakupwanya, his host, is vying for a parliamentary seat.
